The Silver Slipper Stakes is an 1100 metre set weights race for two-year-olds run by the Australian Turf Club in February. It is run at Rosehill as part of the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

The race was first held as a Principal Race over 4 furlongs(about 800m) in 1963 when it was won by Eskimo Prince. It remained at that distance through to 1972 except for 1970 when it was held over 5 furlongs at Canterbury. From 1973 to 1983 it was held over 900m. In 1979 it was awarded the current Group 2 status and in 1984 it was increased to the current 1100m distance.
It is regarded as a traditional lead-up to the Golden Slipper.
